IPC Seatbelt Design Challenge
In IPC class, students are studying Newton's Three Laws of Motion and applying them to relevant, everyday activities. Relating Newton's First Law of Motion to the benefits of wearing seatbelts, students had to design a way to make a crash test dummy experiment that will show evidence of damage before and after an impact, develop a reliable and repeatable method for performing the test and produce a report that demonstrates the effect of wearing a seat belts in impacts over a range of speeds.
