IPC - Freezing Point Depression Lab

 IPC students enjoyed learning about how NaCl (rock salt) affects the freezing point of ice in our Freezing Point Depression Lab. Students had to hypothesize what would happen to the temperature of the ice in the zip-lock baggie after a set amount of time. Time and temperature were recorded and a graph was created to see what happened to the temperature.

In the end, we ended up with a sweet treat - a bowl of ice cream.
